Separate free beta

PrivacyGuard Share is a distinct free beta product. It is not included in, and does not change, the paid PrivacyGuard Screen Shield license or EULA.

Your responsibility

You control which folder is shared and who receives its public link. Review the folder before sharing, protect the link, stop sharing when finished, and share only files you are authorized to distribute.

Public-link limitation

Windows folder-share links include a random access key, but anyone who obtains the complete active link may browse and download the shared content. Windows does not currently provide per-link password or recipient-identity protection. Treat the complete URL as sensitive.

Beta availability

The beta is provided as available, without guaranteed uptime, support, feature parity, or file-size capacity. Your device, the app, network, and selected tunnel provider must remain available for transfers to work.

Security

Security boundaries depend on the selected provider. Tailscale documents that Funnel TLS terminates on the sender’s node; Cloudflare Quick Tunnel terminates public TLS at Cloudflare’s edge. PrivacyGuard Share does not make a blanket end-to-end encryption, zero-knowledge, or provider-inaccessible-content claim.
